Cracked Tablet: Amegakure

A roar was heard in the distance; Amegakure was not alarmed at all. As rain began to fall, the roars became louder, they were in sync with the loud booms coming from the thunder. Like obedient servants, the villagers scattered into their houses, as the rain became heavier, louder, more dangerous... across a starry, moonlit sky, while the air high above was demonically purple...

The roars from the beast were much closer now. One with a keen sense of hearing could easily separate the roars from the shrill sound of thunder. The patter of rainfall only further diminished the roar of the... what? The roar of one of the most ancient, feared serpent's that ever walked the land.

The ground on the earth shook violently. A small girl walked out of a house to see what was happening; her old grandmother followed. They looked up, straight into the eyes... or at least two eyes, of one of the heads of the beast. The beast noticed the tiny, beady beings staring up at Him. And with a simple stomp, He concluded the lives of two souls... but he wouldn't stop at that.

He let out an ear-splitting roar that echoed throughout the whole village of Amegakure. Villagers came bustling out of their houses, screaming in fear, adding to the din of the event. Fear shot through the hearts of many, civilians and ninja alike. The great beast let out a long, extended breath of red hot fire, burning up five houses in it's nearest vicinity. The terror of the great 8-headed serpent had begun!

Objective: Slay one head of the great serpent!

Suzume was peacefully walking towards the gates of the Rain village when she heard the very loud roar. It was not too loud, she has heard louder things than that. It sounded like a lot of trouble, though. Deciding to see what's happening, she dashed through the trees to see houses on fire and a large creature in the village. The gates were unguarded and it seems like the village's main defense has switched to focus on the beast. She jumped off the last branch and sprang up to a really high jump, landing just a few metres away from the eight-headed serpent. She whistled as she walked around it.

"Boy, aren't you the ugliest thing..."

She chuckled as she drew her rapier. A battle was eminent. This will be good practice once she takes on her later targets...

The huge beast let out a deafening roar, in both pleasure and rage. Countless ninja fell simultaneously, as one massive orb of fiery red chakra soared to the ground, imploding to cause the ground beneath it to form a crater; releasing massve destructive energy. The ground right in front of it was most damaged; a few huts here and there were now non-existant.

It let out another ear-splitting roar; a young boy running away actually fell on the ground clutching his ears. Everyone in front of him was fleeing; no escape. But no; one of it's heads happened to catch sight of a ninja girl; just like any other ninja. To the serpent, it was just another ant to be killed... in a bloody festival!

One of the heads of the serpent started tracking the girl's movements; opening it's mouth, it sent an enormously wide wave of pure soundwaves at the girl, longitudinal waves which looked almost visible due to the disturbance they caused among the air particles. The waves were shot in a circular shape, scarily increasing it's radius every meter it travelled. The sound was high pitched enough to render a person completely deaf; however, it was travelling less than half as fast as normal sound waves.

The rest of the heads began shooting random elemental beams towards the gates of Amegakure; the outer village was near-destroyed.

OOC: Hey, it's an insult o.o you know, to get it's attention^^

The sound wave came in fast, but not fast enough. She saw the boy on the ground and she dashed towards him, grabbing him once she was close enough. She smiled and spoked to him and she put him down.

"Heh, you deserve to live..."

She turned to the serpent and smiled.

"Hey, eight humongous heads cannot defeat a small girl like me? Tsk tsk tsk... shameful.."

She had to get as much attention from the serpent as possible to protect the village. It also makes it easier for her to hit the heads, since they will all be close together. She gripped her rapier as she prepared t counter whatever the serpent's attack will be.

The beast once again let out a high pitched shriek; of agony, pain, or maniacal chaos; it was difficult to discern. The beast was still advancing to the Amegakure gates, killing a number of ninja on the way. The destruction was yet to reach it's peak. Purple, cold fire began blazing all over the area in front of the serpent, in a semi-circular radius, about fifty meters away from the front of the serpent, The back was empty; save that one head that had just failed to attack that girl.

That head lunged towards the girl, mouth, jaws, fangs outsretched, and let out a low-pitched, physically damaging soundwave. This soundwave wouldn't harm the girl's innards, just knock her away with massive force; which would be easier to hit since it's speed was the same, and the serpent's mouth was flying towards the girl herself.

OOC: Still. v.v And a giant serpent doesn't understand words anyway. xD

"Hmph..."

Suzume quickly jumped to her side just before the sound wave hit the ground. It made a huge dent and the head followed immidiately. After the head crashed to the ground, she pulled out her rapier and tried to strike it in the eye and get on its head. That way, once it goes up, she has access to all of the heads.

The head crashing on the ground was so heavy, the ground began shaking; a tremor passed through the ground that was at least ten meters away from it. Dust clouded the air in front of the serpent's head; a huge mark formed on the ground where it's head had landed.

Irritated, and letting out yet another roar, this time muffled, though, that one head swung over from that ground-level position towards the girl, bringing up earth and dust with him; colliding into the girl. The thickness of the head, and it's mass, didn't greatly affect the serpent at all.

However, that outstretched rapier pierced right into the eye of the serpent; it let out a deathly scream as it did. And since the girl was trying to get over the head, after colliding with it, she would certainly go flying into the air opposite to the direction the head was moving.

The rest of the serpent resumed it's destructive path...

"Heh, this is perfect..."

Suzume created a few hand signs and shifted her position so that she would go down straight towards the serpent's body instead of going flying away. As she started to go straight down in a somewhat diving position towards the serpent's armoured body, she pointed her rapier at it. Her blade glowed slightly and she smiled as her speed increased towards the ground. Obviously, the serpent was too big to react.

"If I cannot destroy the armour... Maybe an impact from the outside will mess up its inside..."

That one head sliding on the ground slugged it's way back to it's original position. His knock had sent the girl flying into the air; straight towards the center of the beast's body. The serpent ignored this all-together; but when the rapier met it's hard-armored body, it... did nothign at all. The rapier merely dented the skin of the serpent; if the rapier was not elementally enhanced it would have snapped in two for the massive strength with which the armor was made.

Of course, now that the girl had a snug position between each of the serpent's heads, she was free to do whatever she liked; but the serpent's body was impenetrable.

OOC: Your objective was to cut off a head, not kill the serpent itself. D:
