The clone holding him evaporated and the tag made a huge explosion. The other clone charging also evaporated and made a big splash to cool him down a bit. Then, the tag exploded. The third one was the real Suzume, and attempted a really fast straight stab to Osako's neck, hoping that the smoke from the explosion will divert him.

The explosion of the first tag thrusted the man forwards a few steps; the water splash not only cooled down his body temperature, but also the singed markings on his body after impact with the tag. But with a second explosion, he fell onto the water on his back, making your stab unsuccessful, however, leaving him at a completely vulnerable spot; for a split-second, he was helpless. If she doesn't become careful, her chakra might be wasted. She still hoped that it's not a clone. Looking at hi, as he fell down, she shifted her weight to stop her momentum. Then, she pointed her rapier downwards to stab Osako straight in the neck.

"Die..."

Your rapier peirces through the man's jugular vein. With a massive spurt of blood, stained over your clothes, the man lost his balance, and fell to the depths of the river valley's water. He had no last words; he sank stright through the water until you could see no trace of his body.

"Now to collect the evidence of his death...."

Suzume dived down underwater and quickly shot down to catch up with Osako's corpse. There, she took her rapier and cut off his head. It would be a good evidence for his death. She put it inside a bag and before she swam up, she took what money Osako had left.

You won't be needing this in the afterlife. Let your soul be put to rest. Sleep well...

After swimming up and resurfacing, she threw the bag on the shore and walked up.

"Great... now my clothes are all bloodstained... I might go to the springs to clean up..."

She took the bag and walked away from the scene. Hopefully, nothing else will go wrong as she goes to the kage to report.
